My sister, Lea and her husband, Ari recently remodelled the kitchen in their Scandinavian fixer-upper. They knocked down the wall dividing the old kitchen and a small bedroom to make one large open space. While they hired professionals to do all the heavy lifting, Ari assembled and installed the cabinetry from Kvik himself. Lea opted for white cabinets to maximize the light in the kitchen and chose oak counter tops and flooring to add warmth. She doesn't like hardware or overhead cabinets so she just left those out. Her favorite part of the kitchen is the nearly 4 feet long drawers that have a space for everything.
